The Uncertainity in Life

As I sit here and ponder over the reasons why nothing ever happens as it is planned, I wonder, would life be interesting at all if everything is in order? Probably not. But does that mean that planning is a total waste of time? of course not! One may question the whole nature of planning at times. Or, is it just me for whom planning hardly works.
A major trigger for this topic to have come up is my study-abroad plan which is currently being held in abeyance. At least one good thing seems to have come out of the plan, the expansion of my vocabulary which I hope is noticeable. :D Anyway, now I've decided to go with the flow of things that happen; since making long term plans doesn't seem to work for me. Curse the banks that gave sub-prime loans, the cause of the sufferings of many!
Let alone long term plans, short term plans involving the completion of work etc. don't seem to work either, or they lead to a lot of procrastination and deviation from the actual plan of action.
Will avoiding the making of plans resolve all of the above issues? I don't think so. It will only result in increasing the entropy of my life.
A balance should certainly be achieved between order and randomness in one's life, that is if one expects it to be interesting and at the same time, achieve something.
My say in this is: make plans as you usually do but don't fret when things don't go the way you expect them to. That's what makes life livable. At least, that is what I keep telling myself ;)

PS: I'm back!!(hopefully) Please bear with me until my blog becomes more interesting.
