As I sit here and ponder over the reasons why nothing ever happens as it is planned, I wonder, would life be interesting at all if everything is in order? Probably not. But does that mean that planning is a total waste of time? of course not! One may question the whole nature of planning at times. Or, is it just me for whom planning hardly works.
A major trigger for this topic to have come up is my study-abroad plan which is currently being held in abeyance. At least one good thing seems to have come out of the plan, the expansion of my vocabulary which I hope is noticeable. :D Anyway, now I've decided to go with the flow of things that happen; since making long term plans doesn't seem to work for me. Curse the banks that gave sub-prime loans, the cause of the sufferings of many!
Let alone long term plans, short term plans involving the completion of work etc. don't seem to work either, or they lead to a lot of procrastination and deviation from the actual plan of action.
Will avoiding the making of plans resolve all of the above issues? I don't think so. It will only result in increasing the entropy of my life.
A balance should certainly be achieved between order and randomness in one's life, that is if one expects it to be interesting and at the same time, achieve something.
My say in this is: make plans as you usually do but don't fret when things don't go the way you expect them to. That's what makes life livable. At least, that is what I keep telling myself ;)
PS: I'm back!!(hopefully) Please bear with me until my blog becomes more interesting.

Down the Memory Lane - Nostalgia Unlimited!!
Its already been four weeks since college has started.. even though it just feels as if we were in school, complaining about how much we have to study for the boards.. Time flew like THAT! What's more freaky is that, if this continues.. in no time we would all have graduated from college..!
I've come to realise that time is something that's absolutely precious and if we dont cherish the wonderful moments that we've had, we will definitely regret it in the future. In those four weeks of college..I got the feeling of Nostalgia almost every other day..! It's like, something I saw or something I did, somehow had a connection to what we used to do in school and the fun we had!
For instance, the other day in the Physics lab we had to do an experiment based on travelling microscopes. Kavya and Madhu would definitely know what I'm saying.. we did our physics project using our travelling microscope and had so much fun doing it! I had a very bad attack of Nostalgia when we had to do that experiment in college..How does it matter anyway? It's not like I can go back into the past and have the same kind of fun again! There are so many other things that bring back the memories and the fun moments.. it makes me wonder if its even possible in the future. I guess I should be optimistic and say that I need to give some time for myself to get adjusted to the college situation and it would all turn out great.. but its jus that, the process is so damn painful! I guess that's how life is- UNFAIR!!
PS- Like Vaish said, I'm just using blogspot as an outlet for the scrambled thoughts in my head; just a way to make sure that I don't go more insane than I already am! ;)

Caught up in reality!
There's so much to do, yet there's absolutely no time! And your asking me why I'm blogging when I could be doing one of those things? Stress-buster!! And there are just so many thoughts in my head.. blogging is a good outlet!! <-- There you go! 2 more reasons why why I blog in general. And, its also a good medium to bug u ppl! ;)
Okay, let me come back to the original topic!
It's 11:27 PM right now, and as I was just planning to go the other world of complete unawareness..(i.e was about to hit the sack!), I decided to come online for one last time :D And what do you know? There are so many things that I could have done but didn't get the time. There were TWO fanfics that were updated(I check for updates everyday) but I have absolutely no time to read them!! On Saturday, I had downloaded two Friends episodes.. But I still haven't seen them! :( And its like half hour to Wednesday..! Yeah and I haven't been blogging frequently either!
Still haven't seen Vettaiyadu Vilaiyadu OR Sillunu oru kadhal OR Devil wears Prada OR cars OR Something Something(yes, that ancient movie). That may have been due to the ticket unavailability or Just my Luck!( yes I haven't seen that one either!) It sucks to be so busy! Gone are the days when I used to come online and love having absolutely nothing to do!!
I'm asking myself now, why the hell am I whining like an idiot??!! Its the SUN I tell you! It has addled my brains, and it conveniently disappeared today.. ESCAPEEE!!!!

College - Bloody hell, its driving me Over the hedge!!
Whoever said that College life is fun should come and sit in my class for one full day, I'm sure they'll go back on their word.
Physics class, the sir is asking everyone questions and for one such question he says,"Inda question-a yaravudu Ladies answer panunga ma! Yaen-na ippo Ladies-ku 33% reservation konduvandutanga la, adunala Moonu(3) questions-la oru question Ladies-a kekkanum!" This fellow rivals GP in cracking bad mokkai's, I never thought the day would come when I'll see such a person, but here he is, another physics sir!
(and yeah he calls us "ladies"!! heights of weirdness!)
During Chemistry, noone bothers to listen, the sir loves conversing with the chairs, tables and the walls.
Electrical Engineering is a huge waste of time! Until now, we've done only sums with resistors in all the classes. She conveniently gives a brief explanation on all other topics which we are unfamiliar with. You may ask why I'm complaining, since it becomes easier for us.. But how long can I listen to her explaining the same sum a billion times!
That's about just some of the lecturers and I don't even want to go near the topic of how my fellow first years are.. College, I tell u is a nerve wrecking experience!!
